I’m guessing this was lost in the translation!  I think it’s funny, so I just had to share it.

When I was a baby, my Grammy shared this poem with my Mom. Now my Mom has shared it with me. I say this poem to myself everyday- especially when I get a little behind in my housework.

Cleaning and cooking can wait ’til tomorrow,
For babies grow up as we’ve learned to our sorrow.
So, quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I’m rocking my baby, and babies don’t keep.

Hailey and I went to a St. Patrick’s Day party with the mommy group we’re involved in. We had a blast, so I had to share a few pictures.

I took this soon after we arrived.  Hailey stood back for a few minutes taking everything in before she joined the other kids in playing.

Hailey loves coloring, so this craft was great.  Actually she loves taking the crayons and markers in and out of the containers more than she likes the actual coloring part.

 Hailey looks a bit sad here, but she wasn’t.  I think she was once again taking everything in.

Hailey loved playing with her friends and we had a great time.  And of course I loved having other moms to talk to.  After we got home she insisted on wearing her St. Patrick’s Day necklace and lei. They kept her busy for most of the afternoon while she put them on and off herself and her dolls.

This is one of my all time favorite comics.  I know there are many nights that I stay up way too late on the computer.  Although I do shower everyday, so the BO part doesn’t apply to me.  But there are many times I hear that little voice telling me to log off. I ignore it of course.
