Last fall I went a little bit crazy with the clearance sales.  I bought a lot of clothes for Hailey to wear this spring and summer.  And my mom also bought her a bunch of clothes on clearance.  We both got some excellent deals.  Since I am assuming that one day spring will arrive here where I live, I have decided that it is time to go through all of these clothes. 

 So, I got out these bags where I have been storing all of the clothes we bought last fall.  You really can not tell by the bags, but there’s a lot in there.

I organized all of the clothes into nice little piles so that I could see what I have for Hailey to wear.  I don’t think the picture really shows how much there is.  That one pile of shirts is quite thick.  I am hoping we will have enough days of spring and summer for her to actually wear everything in these piles.

I really hope these clothes are going to fit her.  I am a little bit worried that they might be too big.  Some of the clothes are size 24 months and some are 2T.  I can’t figure out the difference between the two.  Does anyone know?  But, the problem I have with Hailey’s clothes is that if the legs are long enough the waist is too big.  Oh how I wish I had her problem- a tiny waist and long legs.

Anyhoo- I am in the process of washing all of the clothes and getting them organized in Hailey’s closet.  And that is what I am tackling this Tuesday.

**Updated- This picture is from 2000, that’s why she looks so young.  She hides from the camera now, so I had to pick an old favorite.  This doesn’t count as extra words though  I’m just responding to some of the comments about how young she looks.

So a couple of weeks ago when I was visiting my fellow Thursday Thirteeners I saw a fun Thursday Thirteen over at Dance of Motherhood. She invited us to play along and to fill in our own answers. I saved her idea so that I could use it some Thursday when I couldn’t think of anything to do for my Thursday Thirteen (which by the way happens almost every week, so if you ever have any ideas I can use for my TT, please let me know).

I AM… a Christian, a wife, a mommy, a step-mom, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a sister, a sister-in-law, a grand-daughter, a niece, a cousin and a friend.
I WANT… the best possible life for Brooke and Hailey.
I HAVE… everything I need and most of the things I want.
I WISH… I could be outgoing and be able to think of things to say to people I don’t know very well.
I HATE… being shy.
I FEAR… one of my loved ones getting sick.
I REGRET… not starting my Master’s Degree as soon as I finished my Bachelor’s degree.
I LOVE… my family.
I ALWAYS… worry about anything and everything.  If I run out of real things to worry about I start worrying about all of the “what ifs.”
I AM NOT… perfect.  Shocking, I know.
I DANCE… like nobody’s watching- because I make sure the only time I dance is when nobody is watching- except for Hailey, she likes my dancing.
I CRY… about movies, books, songs, etc.  It doesn’t take much.
I SING… with such a lovely voice that I can’t figure out why American Idol hasn’t come knocking down my door

Monday- Hot dogs and salad
Tuesday- Chili and roasters
Wednesday- Ham and Tater Bake
Thursday- Lasagna
Friday- Beef and Taco Skillet
Saturday- Turkey and stuffing casserole

So, that’s my plan for this week.  Sorry I kept all of you on the edge of your seats waiting for that!
