Alison at RDH Mom is our host this week for Fun Monday. Here is the assignment she gave us:
“Vacations…this is the time of year when most of us go on vacations. Show us and/or tell us about your favorite vacation - where you went, what you did, etc. Pictures would be great. Let’s all take a trip around a the world via our FM friends!!”
Well, I couldn’t pick just one vacation as my favorite. But I did narrow it down to 4. And that’s good because at first I had a lot more.
So, here we go.
First- The Grand Canyon:
In 2003 Rich, Brooke and I went to the Grand Canyon with my parents and my two brothers. It was amazing.
If you have never seen the Grand Canyon in person you can not comprehend how spectacular it is by looking at pictures. You just have to see it in person.
After seeing the Grand Canyon we went to Las Vegas and visited all of the hotels, saw lots of shows and ate lots of food.
And did a little relaxing by the pool.
And we saw a real, live cactus. At the airport in Las Vegas.
Next- Rich and I took a cruise in 2004.
We took a Carnival Cruise to Key West, FL and to Cozumel Mexico and It was wonderful! Cruises are an excellent vacation choice.
One of the things that amazed me was the color of the water in the ocean. I just love this color blue.
Third- a trip to Disney World in 2004.
Rich, Brooke and I took a trip to our favorite vacation destination in 2004. We love everything about Disney World!
Lastly, is our vacation we took to Disney World last summer.

It really is a dream come true each time we visit Disney World. We can’t wait to go back!

well Melanie..I have never been to the Grand Canyon, or on a cruise, or to Disneyworld, but I have been to Disneyland!! Thanks for taking me to all those places today!!! Great pictures.

I think the nose biting was the best of all.. ha ha ha.
I do want to see the Grand Canyon. I’ve been south of it, north of it, and flown above it. But none of those count.

Can you believe we\’ve been to Vegas twice and both times didn\’t make time to see the Grand Canyon?? Might have to back again just to get those pictures. All your holiday\’s look fun and your photos are priceless, especially the little adorable nose biter :o)

I have neglected the west in my travels. Every account of seeing the Grand Canyon makes me realize what I must be missing. Love the shots of babies nibbling Disney noses. How old are they now–too old for that?

I did a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon when my daughter took me to Las Vegas and it is such an amazing sight~ I would love to go again. Disney is such fun and my grandchildren want to go again~ Ben was only 2, when we went, and he doesn’t remember much!
