Why does it seem like men just grow up to be big kids who still want toys?  I do enjoy an occasional shopping trip for some new clothes and shoes or maybe a purse.  But, for the most part I don’t spend much money on myself.  On the other hand it seems like men always want big purchase items.  And they just get more and more expensive.  Like Rich wants a big screen TV and not an affordable one either.  And then there is the boat he talks about constantly that he wants to have.  And let’s not forget about the 4 wheeler and the dirt bike.  And recently there has been talk of Rich wanting to get a motorcycle.  A Harley to be more specific.  And he insists that he will have one someday. 

Today I was reading about a company called Eagle Rider and they let people rent motorcycles, ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Scooters, Snowmobile, and Watercraft.  It would be a dream come true for Rich because he would get to try out some of these things he hopes to own and maybe even have some motorcycle adventures.  And it would be perfect for me because we wouldn’t be spending tons of money on something he would only be able to use occasionally.

I am working towards trying to lose some weight.  I am looking for some kind of weekly check in that I can blog about.  You know tell my troubles and my successes and get encouragement from my fellow bloggers who are trying to lose weight.  Does anyone know of anything like this?

Being in a car accident is a terrible experience.  I have been in one accident and although it wasn’t serious it was still a major headache to take care of everything.  I was not the one at fault but it still required a lot of work on my part to get everything done that I needed to.  And then to find out years later when we sold that car that we wouldn’t be able to get what we would have been able to if it had never been in an accident was upsetting.  I mean the accident wasn’t even my fault and I lost out on money because of it anyways.

I found out recently that if you have been in a car accident that wasn’t your fault you can get the diminished value of your car paid to you.  You can get a free estimate for the amount of money you should be able to get from Advocate Auto Claims.

Thirteen Reasons that my Thursday Thirteen is late this week.

1. I can’t think of anything to write about for TT.
2. I am lacking any and all motivation to come up with something to write about.
3. My site was running extremely slow last night and seems to still be slow this morning.
4. Hailey is sick and wants extra attention.
5. Did I mention I can’t think of anything to write about for my TT?
6. We were supposed to leave to go out of town yesterday.
7. We didn’t go because Hailey is sick.
8. We are going to leave today instead because Hailey is feeling better.
9. I need to get my packing done. 
10. My reasons for my TT being late this week don’t even make any sense.
11. Maybe it’s because I can’t think of anything to write about for TT.
12. Any ideas for ideas I can use for TT next week?
13. Otherwise there might be another completely nonsense post like this one.
