Fun Monday- I Made It

June 2, 2008

Our host for Fun Monday this week is Karisma and here is the assignment she gave us:

“I would like to see or hear about things you have made with your own two hands (or feet, I’m not fussy!) We all have different talents and abilities, maybe you like to sew or knit, chisel or sculpt, draw or paint? Whatever your talent is, please share it with us this week.”

I haven’t made anything recently because it is hard to find the time to do it with a toddler.  But, I used to do a lot of cross stitching and scrapbooking.

So, here are a few things that I have cross stitched:

And here are a couple of pages from Brooke’s scrapbook:

Just visiting a friend today who really loves counted cross stitching. Loved seeing all her work on display. Sometimes i get lucky and get her oversupply.

Do you do scrapbooking the low tech or computer way? Both appeal to me.

I “SEW” envy y’all who can do a cross stitch and have it look like something. Me? I’ve tried, nope…can’t do it!!

    GREAT work!!

Those are great! I haven’t done a cross stitch in ages! I have about 4 or 5 just waiting to be done. They’d actually make great gifts. Maybe if I start now I can have them done by Christmas. LOL
