Is your Christmas shopping well under way?  I was busy most of Friday and today getting my shopping done.  We are out of town at my parents house so I can’t buy too much as our car is usually packed pretty tightly with our luggage.  But I have gotten a good start on my shopping.  Once we get home I am going to have to get serious about my shopping.  I will probably do a lot of shopping online this year too as it is so much easier than taking Hailey with me.

I usually love the black friday shopping but this year I was getting annoyed with all of the people.  I will probably participate in Cyber Monday too.  One great deal going on right now is through Charter.  There are several different plans, something for everyone!  You will be able to get a $250 gift card if you sign up AND have a chance to win an Xbox 360.

I have been very busy shopping these last couple of days and I haven’t had time to look for any giveaways let alone post about them.  Tonight I have a few minutes to post about a couple of great giveaways I found over at 5 Minutes for Mom.

Have you made your shopping plans yet for this weekend?  We are at my parents house celebrating Thanksgiving and we are working on that right now.  Everyone is sitting around the table looking at the ads for Black Friday.  We are all working on our lists of what we want and writing down what we want for Christmas.  Then we all show our lists to each other and take ideas off of each other’s lists and buy gifts for each other.

Tomorrow as we are all out shopping we need to keep in mind those around us who are in need.  As we make lists of things we want, there are some who do not have everything the need.  And sadly some of those people are military families.  One way you can help those military families is through the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry.  You can do this on their website or in the Sears stores.  You can look at their website to see the things that are most needed- things like kid’s shoes, pajamas and clothes. 

As you go out and do your shopping this weekend remember to take a few minutes and spend few dollars to help those who are in need this season.
