Does anyone else feel scared when thinking about the future of our country? I know that it is definitely a fearful thought for me. For many reasons, of course- and mainly because I think morally our country is in a downward spiral. But, today I am going to focus on the economic state that our country is in.
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last few months then you know that many people have lost a lot of money in the stock market. Rich’s 401K has plunged- and he has less than half of the money left that was in there before all of this mess started. There are stories like ours all over the country and many people have probably lost a lot more money than we did. I know we are still young so we have time to recover our losses but it is still a scary feeling to watch your savings get lower and lower every single day.
Today I was reading about $25 investments that can help with the Rebuilding of America. It seems like a pretty simple investment to make- you purchase a $25 Certificate of Deposit which will be bundled up with all of other $25 investments that others are making, to get back construction loans that have been lost. This will in turn allow construction jobs to be completed or even new ones started- obviously creating jobs and helping our economy.
Think about it- what do you normally waste $25 on? I know if I simply cut junk food out of my grocery shopping trips that I could easily come up with $25. It’s pretty easy to find an extra $25 that could be invested into this FDIC Insured Certificates of Deposit. I can’t think of any really great $25 investment I have ever made in the past- but I think this one seems worth checking out- it could possibly rebuild our country.

Comedy Plus says:
Yes, I’m scared too. For many reasons as well. It’s scary times if you ask me. It will turn around, but it’s going to be a long time. Have a great day.
