Do you know what is scary? The price of college.
It seems really far away right now, but in 16 years it will be time for Hailey to head off to college. I don’t like to think about it- mostly because that means she will be 18 and leaving home. But, also because the cost of college will probably go up by quite a bit over the next 16 years.
Today I saw something very interesting that I had never heard of before. It’s a new and unique idea to help students pay for college. Students set up an account at GradeFund then send out invitations to sponsors to request their support based on the grades the student receives. When the student gets his or her grades he or she will just upload the transcripts to GradeFund and then they do the rest.
Money will be collected from the sponsors by GradeFund and then depending on how the sponsor wants it done- the money will go either directly to the school or to the student.
