This giveaway is now closed and the winner has been contacted. Congrats Sherri!
Are you looking for a Christmas present for your child that will last? You know long after the toys have been put away and forgotten about- what gift will your child remember? Hopefully even something your child will love and cherish years from now?
I have the perfect idea for you- and it’s a book from The Kids Book Store. Now these books are not just regular old books (not that there is anything wrong with regular old books!). With these books you are able to personalize the book especially for your child. Inside the front of the book, there is a dedication page where you can have a picture of your child as well as a personal message that you write for your child.
I picked The Night Before Christmas for Hailey. I dressed her up in her Christmas dress and took some pictures. I picked my favorite one and uploaded it. Then I was stuck when it came time to come up with an idea for a personalized message. Guess what? The folks at The Kids Book Store must have figured that would happen to people like me because there is a spot you can click on for suggestions to get you started. That is just what I did- and I thrilled with the results of our new book. I absolutley love it!!

This year on Christmas Eve Hailey will be getting two presents- her new pajamas and The Night Before Christmas. Then she can get into her new pajamas and we’ll curl up and read her new book before she goes to bed. I think this will be a new tradition for us.
Now there are many books to pick from at The Kids Book Store- not just Christmas books- there are many choices- quite a few of them are the classics that you probably grew up reading and loving.
So how would you like a chance to win a book of your choice?
- Stop by The Kids Book Store and look at the great choices. Come back here and leave me a comment letting me know which book you would pick if you win (you can change your mind later).

I think Fancy Nancy would suit my girly-girl of a daughter.
This is a neat idea, but I don’t think it would be that hard to do this yourself. I write dedications in almost every book I give. To take a picture and affix it in wouldn’t be that much harder. I understand this is a printed page, but I feel that handwriting is such a connection that I would probably go ahead and sign this book at least.
