Planning a Little Trip

Now that Hailey is two years old I think I am ready to go on a little trip- without her.  Does that make me a terrible mommy?  I love her to pieces, but I just think it might be nice to go away with just Rich.  Just the two of us- we can do whatever we want all day long- no arranging things around nap time.  We can eat dinner without having to try to keep a 2 year old quiet.  It just sounds like a lot of fun to me.  I know I would miss Hailey like crazy and I would worry about her but I think it would be good for us to go on a little trip without her.

Since Rich and I both love to go to amusement parks I’ve been looking at going to Resorts in Wildwood NJ and the Jersey Shore.  We could check out Morey’s Piers- they even offer some holiday sales!  The sale runs until January 9th and it sounds pretty fabulous to me.  I just think that a nice Jersey Shore beach Vacation would be great!

I don’t know what Rich and I will do if we do decide to take a little get away together.  But it’s nice to think about how much fun it would be!
