I decided to list 13 goals I have for 2009 for my Thursday Thirteen this week.
- I need to reach my goal weight. I have 14 more pounds to lose.
- Exercise every week. Notice I said every week, not every day.
- No more “googling” health related questions- whenever I do this I end up finding information that scares me to death.
- Keep in touch with friends- I’ve lost touch with some good friends.
- Take a weekend trip with Rich
- Find some friends- I need to have a few friends in real life.
- Move- I really want to move back to our home town. We need to stop talking about it and just do it!
- Cook healthier meals for my family- I need to stop throwing things together at the last minute.
- Be better about commenting on blogs. I’ve been such a slacker with my commenting lately.
- Scrapbook! I’ve been collecting things to make a scrapbook for Hailey since before she was born. And I need to just start working on it.
- Read. I love to read books and I used to always have one I was reading. Now it seems like there isn’t time. But I need to start reading again.
- Go to bed earlier. No more staying up until 12 or 1 every night.
- Get dressed every day. I think I’d feel better about myself if I didn’t spend so much time in sweatpants.

Great list of 13! A lot of your are actually similar to mine. Being unemployed, in a new place with no friends did not work well for my weight!
I especially can identify with #6, #12 (2 & 3am) & #13!

That is a great list and I think all those are do-able which makes it so much easier to stick with it. But, hey, if you ever want to move to another state- I can help you with #6! I too need to work on that some – all my friends live in this computer…..how sad am I??

Loved that list! Especially #13. You will feel so much better about yourself when you do it. I never wear sweat pants (except if I’m just relaxing in front of the TV for a bit before bed), and it reallky does make a difference.

My main goal is to also cook healthier meals. I use to be so much better at it but have gotten so lazy over the last couple of years.

Oh, I need to make some real life friends too! I keep thinking I’ll try to find friends at some future date… now it’s pushed back a couple of months until I’m off bedrest, my baby is born and I’ve gotten the hang of motherhood.
I hope you’ll be able to find some great friends IRL!
