What do you remember about Bluelight Specials from your past?  When Bluelight Specials were around I was a kid and I remember making jokes with my friends about finding things on Bluelight Specials.  Now that I’m an adult though- savings is a whole lot more important to me and I am always looking for some money saving ideas.  And now that we are moving into our new house, and I have all sorts of things I want, I am looking out for some great deals even more.

That’s why when I read that there are going to be over 40 Kmart Bluelight Specials tomorrow in the store, I was sooo excited!  Plus, there will be a bunch of other great specials available online only.  One of the things we need for our house is a grill.  When we moved we just threw our old one away, so we don’t have a grill.  A nice grill with a Bluelight discounted price would be just perfect for us!

A couple of weeks ago I happened to be flipping through the channels and ended up watching Oprah.  The episode was about beauty tips- and I need all of the tips I can find, so I watched.  One of the tips was how to get rid of the hard scratchy dead skin that forms on the bottom of your feet.  The bottoms of my feet are awful, so I decided to try out the idea that was given.  It is cheap and easy.

When you’re ready for bed you take something like Stridex Acne Pads and rub them on your feet in the bad spots.  You don’t have to use Stridex, I’m actually using Noxema pads.  The important thing is that they have salicylic acid in them. After you do that you slather on some heavy lotion like Eucerin.  I’m using Lay It On Thick from Bath and Body Works.  They recommended then putting socks on but I can not sleep with socks on- so I haven’t done that.  After one night I could actually feel a difference.  After several days my feet are almost completely smooth!

I haven’t made a decision yet but I am considering putting an end to the giveaways I do. I have several lined up that I need to post but I have just lost all motivation to actually do it. I love getting the free stuff to review, but communicating back and forth with the company, testing out the product, writing about the product, communicating with the winner and then company some more is a lot of work. It ends up being a pretty time consuming process and I’m just not sure I want to do it anymore.  Of course I will still post the reviews and giveaways I already have lined up.  And I will still consider doing some reviews/giveaways, but not like I used to do.
