Any fans of America’s Got Talent out there?  I’ve watched it on and off this year.  I have missed a few episodes and have not been able to get into the show as much as I did in the past.  But I do know that the show is down to the final contestants now- the top 10.  You can check out who the finalists are on the America’s Got Talent site.

So if you have been watching- do you have a favorite?  At the beginning I had picked Kevin Skinner as my pick.  His last performance didn’t seem all that great to me, although Pierce told him he was wonderful.  I’m not sure if he is still my pick or not because I have actually not seen all of the groups in the finals.

How about you?  Who is your pick this year?

When I watch TV it’s usually because I want to relax and have a good laugh.  I don’t like to watch TV that makes me feel anxious- I feel anxious and worried enough as it is, so I don’t really enjoy shows that keep me on the edge of my seat.  I used to, but as I’ve had problems with anxiety I am no longer able to enjoy those kinds of shows.  All that to say- there isn’t a whole lot of TV that I like to watch.  Other than The Office I’m not much of a TV watcher.

Recently I’ve gotten into watching some truTV shows.  These shows are about real life and the ones I enjoy watching are the funny ones.  I was checking out some of their videos today.  Since we’re getting ready to go on vacation I found the Wildest Vacation Videos the best.  This truTV video made me laugh out loud:

And since the type of response I like to get from TV is laughter these are the perfect kind of shows for me to enjoy.  So be careful as you watch truTV because it’s real life and it will cause real effects on you as you watch.

I don’t know if Thursday Thirteen is still around, but I am doing a Thursday Thirteen this week anyways.  We are heading out of town in a couple of days for vacation and I have a bunch of stuff to get done before we go, so I thought I’d make a list to keep myself organized.

1. Pay the bills for this week and next week.
2. Do the laundry and actually put it all away.
3. Clean the house.
4. Vacuum the house.
5. Pack Hailey’s stuff.
6. Pack my stuff.
7. Nag Ask Rich until he finally packs his own stuff.
8. Pack all of the other stuff.
9. Get Dottie’s stuff ready to go stay with my parents.
10. Stop the mail.
11. Get Hailey’s birthday party invitations ready so I can mail them out when we get home.
12. Return DVDs and books to the library.
13. Check-in for our flight online to save money on checking our bags.

Guess it’s time to stop blogging and get busy!!

Since I have so much free time on my hands I have found something new that I am hooked on!  Tonight I was checking out Red Chair Confessions- and I am officially hooked!

In the first episode we see a young woman, dressed nicely and wearing nice accessories- confessing to a priest what her sins are.  Except she doesn’t come out and say what her sin is- she just leaves us wondering what it could be.

In the next episode the same young woman, a bit older and pregnant- still nicely dressed and with great accessories is talking to her therapist about whatever this sin is that she still can not stop doing.  In both instances she gets up and leaves during her confession because she is overcome with the urge to go and do whatever the sin is.

I’m not sure exactly what her sin is- but I’m guessing it’s related to charging up her credit cards with shopping purchases. Something like that- too much shopping is my guess.

I can’t wait until next week to see the next episode and try to figure out what it is she has done wrong.
