Health Help

March 3, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of wellnessdaily.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you know what I need?  I need some help with my health.  I need to lose about 20 pounds.  I never exercise so I am in horrible shape.  I’m tired all of the time and I feel terrible about myself.  It’s so hard to get motivated.  Back in November I was about 10 pounds away from my goal weight.  After I went back to work and then the holidays were here I gained 10 pounds.  So, now instead of those last 10 pounds I have 20 to lose.  Not fun.

Today I was checking out www.wellnessdaily.com.  This site is perfect for when you’re looking for some health information and feeling totally overwhelmed with all of the information out there.  The site it super easy to use and has everything you need right there.  Be sure to check it out soon because the first 25,000 visitors will be able to get $5 product rebate.

If you join wellnessdaily.com you can also enter the Twitter contest- with the prize valued at $1,250.  Get all of the information on their promotions page.  All you have to do is tweet this: Enter to win $ towards a gym membership & JENNIE-O turkey products. Just follow @wellness_daily & RT this!

Handmade Bows

Tonight on Facebook one of my friends posted a link to a site called The Ribbon Retreat.  It’s a really neat site with all sorts of ribbons and bows and cute ideas for your little girl’s hair. There is a section of free hair bow instructions with step by step directions for how to make some cute bows.  There is also a section where you have to join in order to get the instructions.  I looked through the free instructions and think I might be able to try some of those out.  I’m not all that crafty though, so I don’t know.  I’m going to try some free ones and see how they come out.

What Matters Most to You?

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Raising a Father. All opinions are 100% mine.

What is most important to you?  Most people would probably say that their family is most important to them.  And that is definitely the case for me.  And I feel like my most important job is raising Hailey.  I know I fall short of being a perfect mom all of the time, but I’m doing my best.

Today I was reading about a book called Raising a Father. It’s a book written by Arjun Sen as he tells how he came to really know his daughter.  When he realized he didn’t really know his daughter in 2001 Arjun Sen quit his successful career to start a home based business.  What a huge decision to make- but really, is there anything more important than our children?

I haven’t read Raising a Father but it sounds like an excellent book.  I read the reviews that people have left on the website and they really have me sold on adding this book to reading list.  Just reading some of the reviews made me tear up, so I can only imagine how heartwarming the actual book must be!

It’s Time!

March 2, 2010

In about 6 months I am hoping to be in Disney World on vacation.  So, it’s time to start making plans- find a place to stay, make reservations and start making our dinner reservations. Since you can make your dinner reservations up to 6 months in advance it’s best to try to do it exactly 6 months before or you may not be able to get into the most popular choices and the places with character dining.  The last few days I’ve been doing some research- there are a couple of deals going on right now but they are only good through August.  I’m sure they’ll add something for when we want to go, but I may have to make my reservations first and hope to be able to change them later.
