So after a few weekends of planning, the deck is finally making some progress. For the first couple of weeks I couldn’t really see much difference and I was getting a little concerned that it was going to take all summer to finish our new deck and we wouldn’t get to enjoy it at all this year. But finally this weekend I started to see some actual changes. And then yesterday when I got home from work Rich had ripped the entire floor off and had laid the new one down. Today the wood has all been screwed into place and it’s looking good! Hopefully the railing will go up tomorrow and then the stairs on Friday. Then it will be time to enjoy our new deck!!
