Lollitops Giveaway

December 12, 2008

This giveaway is now closed and the winner has been contacted.  Congrats Jess!

I am about to show you the cutest picture ever.  I promise- it’s the cutest picture ever!

Drum roll…..

See?  The cuteness is almost unbearable!

That adorable hat that Hailey is wearing is a Lollitop and I have to tell you that I think it is the cutest hat ever made.  Add to that the cutest toddler (I know, I might be a little bit biased) and what do we have?  Hailey with her Lollitop on.

I can not say enough about how adorable the Lollitop hats are.  They are very well made, easy to clean and just so incredibly cute.  Oh and did I already mention that they are incredibly cute?  Another really fun thing about Lollitops is that they can be turned into a purse.  They come with directions for how to do it- and it is super simple.

Now that you have seen the the cuteness of the Lollitop hat I am sure that you want one for your little girl, right?  Well- the good news is that Kim from Lollitops has agreed to give one lucky winner a Lollitop of their choice!

Here’s what you need to do for a chance to win:

  • Stop by the Lollitops website and have a look around.
  • Come back here and leave me a comment letting me know which Lollitop is your favorite (If you click on “Purchase a hat” and then “thumbnails” you can see the entire selection very easily.)

Want some extra chances to win? Leave an ADDITIONAL COMMENT FOR EACH extra entry.

Photo Hunt- Shoes

May 24, 2008

I haven’t played along with Photo Hunt in a few weeks, so it’s time to get back in there and play along.  The theme for this week is shoes.

This picture was taken on Easter in 2007- Hailey’s first Easter.  She is wearing some very special shoes (yes, I know they are a little hard to see) that my parents gave her.  One shoe has her name on it and the other one has her birthday on it.  This picture was the first time she wore her new shoes to church.

Stop by TNChick to see who else participated in Photo Hunt this week.

Babies Don’t Keep

March 18, 2008

When I was a baby, my Grammy shared this poem with my Mom. Now my Mom has shared it with me. I say this poem to myself everyday- especially when I get a little behind in my housework.

Cleaning and cooking can wait ’til tomorrow,
For babies grow up as we’ve learned to our sorrow.
So, quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I’m rocking my baby, and babies don’t keep.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

March 17, 2008

Hailey and I went to a St. Patrick’s Day party with the mommy group we’re involved in. We had a blast, so I had to share a few pictures.

Livin’ With Me

I took this soon after we arrived.  Hailey stood back for a few minutes taking everything in before she joined the other kids in playing.

Livin’ With Me

Hailey loves coloring, so this craft was great.  Actually she loves taking the crayons and markers in and out of the containers more than she likes the actual coloring part.

Livin’ With Me

Hailey looks a bit sad here, but she wasn’t.  I think she was once again taking everything in.

Hailey loved playing with her friends and we had a great time.  And of course I loved having other moms to talk to.  After we got home she insisted on wearing her St. Patrick’s Day necklace and lei. They kept her busy for most of the afternoon while she put them on and off herself and her dolls.
